Mackenzie Williams, PA-C is a physician assistant at Family Medicine NYC, PC in the Financial District of Manhattan, New York City. Originally from Blacksburg, Virginia, Ms. Williams received undergraduate education from Virginia Tech, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise. She then went on to earn a Master’s Degree from Mercy College’s PA program in the Bronx, New York. During her schooling, Ms. Williams completed her medical rotations throughout multiple prestigious hospitals and private practices in the New York area. Her background also includes experience in the Emergency Department and several years of experience working as an EMT.
Ms. Williams loves the intimate environment of family medicine, allowing her to foster long-term relationships with patients. She strives to always deliver empathetic and effective care to her patients. Ms. Williams specializes in multiple conditions, including anxiety, respiratory infections, acid reflux, and depression. Additionally, she offers preventative care including annual physicals, PAP smears, immunization consults, and LGBTQ+ preventative health.
Ms. Williams’ passion lies in helping patients feel like their absolute best selves. By proactively listening to patients, she is able to coach and support patients along their own personal health journeys. She is especially passionate about women’s health and the unique challenges women face in their own physical and mental wellbeing.
